In the sixties, the Euromast was 112 meters high. Enough to tower above the skyline of this city along the Maas. It wasn’t long before other buildings caught up to this pride and joy of Rotterdam.
In 1970, the Euromast made a comeback! With the placement of the Euroscoop, the Euromast grew to 185 meters tall and is – to this day – the tallest building of the Netherlands!
For this reason, the Euromast has become part of the World Federation of Great Towers (WFGT). This federation is made up of the tallest and most beautiful towers of the world, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Burj Khalifa, the Empire State Building and the Berliner Fernsehturm.
