We are looking for a Chef de Parti

The department
The kitchen is responsible for preparing dishes for guests in the a la carte Brasserie and function rooms. For this department, the Euromast is looking for a Chef de Parti to join the kitchen brigade. As Chef de Parti, you will work under the direction of the Executive Chef de Cuisine and his assistants.
The function
As Chef de Parti, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating/arranging the execution of the work so that it is carried out in a way that ensures quality, service and continuity;
- Leading colleagues and apprentices by assigning work and giving directions and instructions;
- Contribute/input to menu changes and recipe development etc;
- Running a parti independently;
- Co-responsible for taking care of daily orders;
- Prepare (or have prepared) orders by performing a la minute cooking, portioning and garnishing according to established instruction regarding ingredients, recipe, working methods and external presentation. In doing so, oversee the quality of work and ensure compliance with hygiene regulations;
- Preparing dishes/dish portions according to recipe and planning;
- Making proposals regarding adaptation of working methods and procedures, adjustment of formula, etc;
- Cleaning work environment, kitchen equipment and machinery. Signaleren van bijzonderheden/mankementen en deze melden aan de chef en of sous chefs.

Your profile
As a Chef de Parti, you will meet the following profile:
- Minimum MBO working and thinking level with relevant professional training;
- Minimum 1 year work experience in a similar position;
- Working experience in both à la carte restaurants and banqueting is an advantage;
- You have leadership skills and can motivate, encourage, inspire and coach people;
- Knowledge of hygiene regulations (HACCP);
- Good proficiency in the Dutch language;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Flexible attitude and stress-resistant.
