“New guests at table three. Highchair to table fifteen!” As a Restaurant & Banqueting Supervisor, you always keep a sharp eye on everything that happens around you. Nothing escapes your attention. You immediately notice when a guest needs assistance, while at the same time keeping the bigger picture in mind. Is there enough tableware? Does the linen need restocking? Is that new team member finding their feet?
Your attention to detail, combined with your knowledge of food and wine, makes you a rock-solid support for the service staff. Busy shift? No problem—you’re happy to step in. With charm, speed, and expertise, you make sure every guest has a great time in our Brasserie and leaves wanting to come back.
As a Restaurant & Banqueting Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and motivating the team;
- Carrying out service tasks including serving orders;
- Delivering service with a smile;
- Preparing bills and handling payments;
- Coordinating and organizing departmental activities;
- Advising and assisting guests.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with dedication, passion, and a natural sense of hospitality who contributes to an unforgettable day out. You are a team player, flexible, and genuinely engaged. You excel at communicating with both guests and colleagues and remain calm and professional in every situation. When problems or complaints arise, you come up with creative solutions.
What we ask:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar supervisory role
- Vocational education level (MBO or equivalent)
- Knowledge of food and beverages
- Good command of both Dutch and English
- Professional and well-presented appearance
- Passion for hospitality and service
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform under pressure
- A true team player
