In addition to the stunning view and impressive Euroscope experience all the way to the top, we host many different activities and events for children. Let’s turn your visit to the highest observation tower in the Netherlands into an amazing party!
EUROMAST KIDS CLUB
Every Sunday (during school holidays also on Wednesdays and Saturdays), the Euromast Kids Club hosts all kinds of free-to-attend activities in our Deli restaurant at the ground floor. Do arts and crafts, play different games and build your own Euromast! We have a different event every month!
THE STORY BEHIND THE EUROMAST MASCOTS
During the 1960 Euromast opening, it stood 112 metres tall and was the tallest building in the city. Not long after, higher buildings were erected which overtook the Euromast. To become the tallest building once again, the Space Tower was built on top of the Euromast in 1970. Its glass panoramic lift, the Euroscope, now takes you to the highest point of Rotterdam at a 185 metre height!
This new tower was so incredibly tall, that a low flying UFO from the planet Mastumi crashed right into the Euromast! The three aliens on board, Ziza, Nomnom and Rox, damaged their spacecraft, but had so much fun in the Euromast, that they decided to stay!
